South African Open Chess Championships – 2025

Under the auspices of Chess South Africa, the Gauteng Provincial Chess Association is honoured to invite all chess players to participate in the 2025 South African Open Chess Championships. This prestigious event will take place from 28 June to 5 July 2025 (eight days of chess) and will be hosted at the University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park Kingsway Campus: Office D Ring 4, Corner of Kingsway and University Road, Auckland Park. The event will consist of the South African Open Chess Championships and the South African Blitz Chess Championships.
